Drinking wine in moderation is better than remaining teetotal

A very ancient debate which will probably never find a meeting point between the various factions, but which is right for it to continue because science does not stop and, on this issue too, it can always tell us something new and constructive to add to a story made up of many chapters.

It concerns the consumption of wine, “demonized” by some and strongly defended by others, a topic that “heats” even more in a period in which a driving product of many important economies, Italy and France first and foremost, is in decline, brought down also by the new health styles that seem to erase with one stroke of the sponge something that is part of the history of peoples and which is synonymous with culture, landscape and territorial values. Yet, as almost always happens, there are also half measures which, most of the time, represent the path that leads to common sense. The European Union is the world’s largest producer of wine but, precisely at a continental level, this is often accused by many of being bad for your health, regardless of the quantities consumed.
